By accessing or using Opener ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including visitors, registered users, and paying customers.
2. Description of Service
Opener is an AI-powered personalized outreach generator that converts a prospect's LinkedIn profile information into tailored email openers and a LinkedIn connection message. The Service uses the Anthropic Claude API to process your input.
3. Your Account and Content
To use Opener, you paste in a prospect's publicly available LinkedIn profile information and, optionally, a sample of your own past writing. By doing so, you agree that:
- You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to use any content you submit.
- Content you submit is processed securely through our servers to generate your results and is not stored afterward.
- Usage of the underlying Anthropic API is subject to Anthropic's own terms.
4. Payments and Subscriptions
Opener offers paid plans (Starter and Pro) processed through Stripe. By purchasing a plan, you agree that:
- All payments are processed securely by Stripe. Opener does not store your payment information.
- Subscriptions may renew automatically unless cancelled.
- Plan pricing is subject to change with reasonable notice.
- Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You must not:
- Use the Service to process confidential information belonging to others without authorization.
- Attempt to reverse engineer or copy the Service.
- Use the Service in a way that violates any applicable laws or regulations.
- Submit content that is illegal, harmful, or violates the rights of others.
6. Your Content
You retain ownership of any content you submit to Opener. By submitting content, you grant Opener a limited, non-exclusive license to process that content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. Opener does not use your content to train AI models or share it with third parties.
7. Intellectual Property
The Opener name, logo, interface, and underlying software are owned by Opener and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the Service without express written permission.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Opener does not guarantee that the AI-generated recaps will be accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose. You should review all output before using it in a professional context.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Opener shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to lost profits, data loss, or business interruption.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
